Overview and History

Siam International School, established in 2002, provides an international education for students from Kindergarten 1 through Grade 12. Our current enrollment is 250 students with 40 Thai and foreign teaching staff. The school was created to provide students, from within the district of Pathum Thani or farther a field, with an international education based on a quality curriculum and sound teaching methods. This ethos is reflected in a curriculum which is designed to encourage students to learn more about the world in which they live. Students work through curriculum which is engaging, relevant and challenging. The whole community actively celebrates the school’s many cultures. In line with the school’s mission, the school Community Service and Extra Curricula Programs, as well as renowned programs such as Scouts and ROTC training, all contribute to the growth and maturity of our students beyond the class setting. A key to learning achievement at Siam International School is the amount of personalized attention students receive from their teachers. At Siam we know that when classes are smaller everyone benefits. The parent community support the school, readily participating in annual festivals such as Loy Kratong and Songkran.

The school is licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Education in Thailand and accredited by Western Associations of Schools and Colleges (WASC). There is a comprehensive English Language Development stream from G3 to G8, as well as classes in Thai Language and Culture, as mandated by the Ministry of Education. The school has a sound vision for the future, with the intention of expanding the student population to more than 500 students within the next few years. The main classroom building presently being used has a capacity for 395 students. As the school grows, all but the kindergarten classes will move into a large , modern , 4 – storey building currently under renovation.
